This is a song about bonding over a shared special interest, especially when words don't come easily to you. The language of emotion and parallel play can and should be enough.

Two lonely autists in a room
making music every day
and if there's nothing left
to connect them both, then this has to be the way

I'm tired of being dictated by words
everyone else speaks to me without them

Everything is animate,
everything is empathetic

I want to be the raw feeling that we're meant to be
I'd be nonverbal if it meant my songs would feel
